HUMAN RESOURCES MANAGER
A comprehensive staff management system developed specifically to deal with the special human resource administration issues that face municipalities. This user-friendly module maintains all employee data: detailed attendance histories, benefits tracking, educational and PDP credits, observations and evaluations, fingerprint tracking, retirement data and emergency medical information. HUMAN RESOURCES MANAGER generates a wide array of reports which can be customized by the user.
Features
- Interfaces directly with the PAYROLL MANAGER and NEGOTIATIONS MANAGER modules in the FINANCE MANAGER Series.
- Catalogs all relevant employee data in a computerized database which enables users to maintain the data on-line electronically and eliminates the need to manually research information.
- Utilizes a graphical user interface (GUI) to provide the greatest ease of use for system navigation. Users can maintain full employee records and have the ability to segregate their employees into various categories, ranging from the employee type to the building or department.
- Generates formatted reports for a wide range of critical human resource administrative requirements including Civil Service and DOL. Reports can be customized using standard Microsoft Office® products. The user can generate custom reports in a “point and click” report writer included with each system.
What Human Resources Manager Does
- Provides on-line inquiry with a comprehensive personnel file for each employee. The file is interactive with PAYROLL MANAGER and is controlled by user-defined access.
- Provides interactive demographics that include relevant personnel information to use in mandated or commonly requested reports.
- Records daily attendance with remote entry available.
- Maintains an historical record of employee educational credits including PDP requirements.
- Maintains a log of employee evaluations and observations to facilitate scheduling and planning.
- Tracks employee tenure and certifications as well as Project SAVE fingerprint compliance.
- Provides for medical information including emergency contacts and known health problems.
- Facilitates scheduling of required medical tests by employee type.
- Provides for multiple retirement membership information and civil service classifications.
- Prints a wide variety of user-selectable reports including employee directories, contract letters, attendance reports, and seniority lists.
- Chronicles benefit information including employee contribution and total amounts for all categories.
